"Danny Dollar Millionaire Extraordinaire: The Lemonade Escapade"- Book Review by Kids

Danny Dollar is a kid that works every day to get more money. So that he could become a millionaire and a big-time basketball team owner, Just like his idol Rocky Austin.

Danny and his friends decide to start a lemonade stand at the festival in the neighborhood. Danny and his friends have sold 327 cups of lemonade and made a net profit of 246 Dollars.

Pablo, the neighborhood bully, and his friends decide to put vinegar in Danny’s lemonade. Right after Pablo did that, the mayor of New York shows up and ask for some lemonade for his bodyguards, himself, and the TV crews.

When the mayor, his bodyguards, and tv crew taste the lemonade, they spit it out. Some of the lemonade that the mayor spits it out lands on the crowd.

When Danny starts to feel bad about what happened, his mom takes him and his friends to the city hall. Danny and his friends begin to sell lemonade. When the mayor shows up, they apologize for what happened at the festival and they gave the mayor a proper tasting lemonade.

When the mayor tasted the lemonade, he liked it!

The mayor invited Danny and his friends to go to the skybox and watch the basketball game with Danny’s idol Rocky Austin.

While Danny and his friends are at the game, Rocky Austin tells Danny that he can become the CEO of his company if his team loses and Rocky’s team lost.

The next day a limousine showed up at Danny’s to take him to the meeting with the board of directors.

At the meeting, they were trying to figure out how to get more people to come to their basketball games. Danny had an idea for kids’ free night because people don’t have that much money to spend and this could be the reason people are not coming to games. At first, everybody laughed, but Danny starts to explain his idea, and the board started to get it.

The story takes place in New York.

I like that the book teaches kids about money in a fun way. I would give this book a five-star rating.

*Kids should read this book alone and with their parents. It is a great book to start a conversation or to keep the discussion about money going.
